Water aerobic exercises allow you to get the same benefit as a regular aerobic workout, but water aerobic workouts are more enhanced. The biggest benefit is water aerobics allow you exercise every muscle and joint in the body at the same time. As you workout, the water cools off your body for a refreshing workout.
You do not need to know how to swim in order to take advantage of water aerobic exercises. Water aerobics are generally performed in water that is no deeper than chest level.
