The deadline to register for Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Indoor Soccer and Boys and Girls Intramural Soccer is fast approaching. Deadline to register for each league is Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Youth Indoor Soccer has leagues for boys and girls, kindergarten through fourth grade. Teams are formed based on current grade level and the school each child attends. However, teams may not be made up of children exclusively from the same school. Practices will start the week of Monday, Oct. 22, with games being played on Saturdays, Nov. 3-Dec. 15, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost of the league is $50 per child.
Boys and Girls Intramural Soccer has leagues for boys and girls, fifth grade through eigtth grade. Practices start the week of Monday, Oct. 22. Games will be played on Saturdays, Nov. 3-Dec. 15, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence. Cost of the intramural league is $60 per child.
