Low-Income Elderly Rate
The City Commission passed an amendment to the City Ordinance that allows qualified elderly residents reduced water, sanitary sewer and sanitation charges. Get more information about the Low-Income Elderly Rate program.
Levelized Billing
Under Levelized Billing, each monthly payment amount will be calculated using the rolling average of your utility bill for the most recent 12 months. For instance, this month’s payment amount would be the average bill amount of the previous 11 months, plus this month. Your payment amount would change only slightly from month to month. The 12-month rolling average guards against drastic fluctuations in your payment amount, even during high usage months. This plan is especially helpful for anyone who irrigates during the summer months. To be eligible for the budget billing, you must:
- Have had service at your current location for at least 12 months.
- Be current on your account (no past due balance).
- Sign up for Auto Pay.
