Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Indoor Aquatic Center will close the leisure pool 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, due to the congestion created in the parking lot from the Lawrence High School/Free State High School football game.
However, the lap pool will remain open for public lap swim for normal operating hours, closing at 8 p.m.
