Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is currently taking team registrations for its winter Adult Sports volleyball leagues. Those registering on or before Friday, Dec. 7, will receive a discounted rate.
Adult Sports Volleyball is offered in women and coed leagues. Leagues range from competitive to recreational and consist of the leagues: women’s power, women’s recreational, coed power, coed recreational, women’s power double header and coed power double header. Each league consists of nine matches followed by a single elimination tournament. Double header leagues consist of 14 matches followed by a single elimination tournament. Fees are assessed at a per team rate. Cost is $230 per team for regular leagues and $295 per team for double header leagues. Deadline to register is Friday, Dec. 14.
