Gymnastics Camp scheduled for winter break

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department offers Winter Break Gymnastics Camp.

Winter Break Gymnastics Camp allows campers the opportunity to bounce on the tumble track, roll over the bars and develop skills on the rings. This camp is designed to improve and teach new gymnastics skills, increase physical fitness and build positive self-image.

Camp will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, Dec. 26-28. Additional sessions will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, Jan. 2-4, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7. All sessions will be held at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane.  Enrollment is open to children five years-old to 12 years-old. Cost is $84 per child, per session for the three-day camps and $28 for the one-day camp. Campers need to bring a sack lunch daily.
