Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a pair of classes for young children to learn about the sport of soccer in a fun, organized environment.
Little Kickers and Junior Kickers are basic introductions to the game of soccer. These interactive classes will provide children with opportunities to make new friends and play soccer. Little Kickers is open to 2 two years-old – 4 years-old and Junior Kickers is open to children ages 4 years-old – 5 years-old. Parents are welcome to watch or join in with the class. The classes have two different sessions offered: 10-10:50 a.m. Thursdays, Feb. 7-28, or 9-9:50 a.m. Saturdays, Feb. 9-Mar. 2. Both sessions held at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $40 per kicker, per session.
