Goodnight, nature: nighttime nature center event on tap

Prairie Park Nature Center is hosting a nighttime program to provide an opportunity to see how animals settle in at night.

Nighttime at the Nature Center invites participants to learn about what happens when the nature center closes and how the animals adapt to their surroundings when the lights go out. The program is 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the nature center, 2730 Harper St. Cost is $5 for those seven years-old to 15 years-old, and $10 for those over 16 years-old. A registered adult must accompany children under 16 years-old. Pre-registration is required.

Programs, activities and crafts will differ by participant age.
