Prairie Park Nature Center will be honoring all mothers on Mother’s Day with a program exploring the mothers of the wild.
Participants will learn about the secrets of wild moths from ostriches to owls. Do mammals really abandon their young if you touch them? Myths will be debunked at the nature center, 2730 Harper St. The program will be held 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 12. The program is free and open to the public.
