Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department, along with partners Outside for a Better Inside, and Baker University Wetlands Discovery Center are holding Family Fun Day at the Baker Wetlands.
Family Fun Day at the Baker Wetlands will be held 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the Baker Wetlands Discovery Center, 1365 N. 1250 Rd. This is event is free and open to the public.
Participants will enjoy learning about the wetlands and the animals that inhabit them. Visitors will also learn about bird banding, amphibians, reptiles and other wetland creatures. Families will enjoy discovering nature as they walk the trails around the wetlands.
