Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center is beginning a series of free Sunday programs with Wild Animal Dads.
Wild Animal Dads invites children of all ages and their families to enjoy a half-hour program all about the dads of the animal kingdom. The program is 1:30-2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. Children under 14 years-old must be accompanied by an adult.
There are two additional free Sunday programs, including: Talons of Steel – Birds of Prey on Sunday, Aug. 25, and Flying Tigers – The Owls of Kansas on Sunday, Nov. 3.
