Lifelong Recreation offers Beginning Ukulele

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a class for those wishing to learn to play the ukulele.

Beginning Ukulele focuses on basic chords and beginning strum patterns. Students brand new to ukulele are welcome. Ukuleles are not provided, but the instructor will be available to guide participants towards buying a good starter uke. Classes will be held 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, July 17-Aug. 7, at the Carnegie Building, 200 W. Ninth St. Cost of the class is $34.
