Lane closures planned for Lawrence Avenue for street maintenance repairs

A series of lane closures on Lawrence Avenue between Clinton Parkway and 31st Street are set to begin on Wednesday, July 10, to facilitate street maintenance repairs. The street maintenance project will include curb and gutter repairs, access ramp removal and replacement, and street patching and resurfacing.

The first phase of lane closures will include closing the southbound lane of Lawrence Avenue between Clinton Parkway and 27th Street, allowing only one-way, northbound traffic over the next few weeks.

Traffic control devices will be in place to direct traffic around street closures and suggested detours will be marked.

There will be multiple phases of traffic control changes as work progresses on the project over the next two months.
