Due to flooding from the extreme wet weather conditions recently, City of Lawrence crews have closed roads on and near 3rd Street in North Lawrence.
City crews closed 3rd Street from North Street to Maiden Lane as well as the 300 block of North Street (Image 1, below). They also closed the southbound lane of 3rd Street between NE Industrial Lane and Riverfront Road (Image 2, below).
Closures will remain in place until water levels are sufficiently lowered. Updates will be made available as necessary.
