Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate Grandparent’s Day at the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive, Sunday, Sept. 8.
From 1-5:45 p.m., admission to the pool is free for grandparents when accompanied by a grandchild. Kids and adults can enjoy the water slides, diving boards, interactive spray features, water volleyball areas and water basketball areas. There is also zero-depth entry for easy water access.
