The recycling bins located in the parking lot of the Dillons Supermarket at 4701 W 6th Street are being temporarily removed beginning Friday, October 4, at the request of the store.
The lot hosts recycling bins for newspaper, cardboard, mixed paper, and glass. The bins are scheduled to be back in place on Thursday, October 10.
Two alternate locations to drop off newspaper, cardboard, mixed paper, and glass are still available while the bins at Dillons are removed. Checkers Foods at 2300 Louisiana Street and Hy-Vee at 3504 Clinton Parkway host City-sponsored recycling bins.
