Personal Training sessions offered to community

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Lifelong Recreation Division provides personal training packages for individuals who want help creating fitness goals.

Personal Training provides individuals a personal trainer who will help create fitness goals, stay accountable and make effective use of their time in the gym. Benefits of having a personal trainer include a reduced risk of injury, creative workouts, face-to-face encouragement and company during workouts.

Personal Training is offered as individual or shared sessions. Individual sessions are $35 for one session, $95 for three sessions and $180 for six sessions.  For a buddy or shared session for two people the cost are $45 for one session, $125 for three sessions and $240 for six sessions. Sessions are 60 minutes in length.

Trainer and clients decide where training is to take place and the workouts. Training may take place at any Parks and Recreation facility, including: Community Building, 115 West 11th St.; East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 East 15th St.; Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St. or Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane.
