Beginning Monday, Dec. 16, the northbound (east) lane of Learnard Avenue from 19th Street to Learnard Court, and from Forrest Avenue to 15th Street, will be closed while the City completes proactive water line inspections. The project is scheduled to be completed on December 20.
Suggested detours will be marked and local traffic access will be available at all times.
Funding for the water line inspection projects is $400,000 and was budgeted in the 2019 CIP. It is a proactive measure – there are no current known or suspected safety risks. More information will be communicated if issues are found in regards to the water quality or if service disruptions are expected.
All project dates are subject to change due to weather.
