No pain, all gain: Slow Gliders to provide low-impact workouts

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department aquatics division is offering a class for participants looking to exercise without pain.

Slow Gliders focuses on putting gentle movements designed to help decrease pain and stiffness while improving strength, flexibility and coordination. Class is 8-8:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 14-March 5, at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive. Cost is $56 per person. Enrollment is open to those ages 16 years-old and older.
