En Garde! LPRD offers spring session of Fencing

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department Lifelong Recreation is offering a fencing program for any level of experience.

Fencing – Modern Olympic Sport teaches participants the techniques, tactics, strategy and psychology involved in fencing. Beginners will learn the basics and experienced fencers will sharpen their skills. Participants also get a great workout. The class will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursdays, March 19-May 14, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Basic equipment will be provided. Cost is $72 per person.
