In an effort to protect the health and safety of City employees and the Lawrence community, the City of Lawrence is restricting public access to all City buildings, effective immediately. Buildings will remain open only to City employees.
The latest safety measure follows the announcement from Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health of a positive COVID-19 case in Douglas County. Additional safety precautions may be announced as the current public health situation continues to develop.
The situation is continually evolving, but we want to assure you that the City of Lawrence will continue to provide excellent City services for our community.
