LaBlast Splash being offered for first time

August 24, 2020

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Aquatic Division is offering a new aqua dance fitness workout called LaBlast Splash.

LaBlast Splash is open to those 16 years-old and older and is a shallow water workout based on ballroom dancing. It doesn’t require a partner and participants will learn the true movements in the graceful dance while “blasting” away calories.

The class will be held 5:30-6:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 14-Oct. 21, at the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive. Cost of the program is $42 per person. An additional session is planned for Mondays and Wednesdays, Nov.2-Dec. 16.

To register online, visit: http://lprd.org/activity?n=412439. Enrollment can also be completed at Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive, or the Administrative Offices in South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St.
