Private Gymnastics Lessons are tumbling in

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is accepting new students for Private Gymnastics Lessons.

Private Gymnastics Lessons are being offered for children three year-olds-14 years-old through December. These lessons will be one-on-one instruction, allowing the teacher to provide individual attention to each student. Lessons will be based off the student’s gymnastic abilities, skills and techniques. Lessons can include: bar, floor, beam and falling activities. Students can decide on what variation they would like to focus on for each lesson. Lessons are available to all gymnastic skill levels.

Lessons will be held at either Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane or East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E 15th Street. Cost is $30 per person, per one-hour sessions.

Currently, Sports Pavilion Lawrence available lesson times in September are: 12:30-1:30 p.m., 1:40-2:40 p.m. or 5:40-6:40 p.m. Sundays. Also, any time between 8 a.m.-noon Tuesdays and Thursdays.

East Lawrence Recreation Center available lesson times in September run: anytime between 5-8 p.m. Mondays;  5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays; 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays and 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Thursdays.
