Deadline to register for Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s spring youth volleyball leagues is Monday, March 15.
Leagues will be divided into coed a fourth grade/fifth grade league and a coed sixth grade through eighth grade league. Participants will have the opportunity to play indoor volleyball in a league that is recreational, teaching skills and is less competitive. The emphasis will not only focus on teaching the fundamentals, but also to teach fair play, teamwork and sportsmanship. Registration is open to boys and girls in fourth grade through eighth grade. Practices begin Monday, March 29. Cost is $50 per participant.
Games will be played on Sundays, April 11-May 23, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Game shirts will be provided.
