Summer camp enrollment begins

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department has opened its enrollment for this summer’s camp offerings.

Camps being offered can be found online at: https://lawrenceks.org/lprd/camps/. Additional camps may be added in the coming weeks. Enrollment can be done both online, as well as at all Parks and Recreation facilities.

These include:

8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday, Parks and Recreation Administrative Office in South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St.
8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday, Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Dr.
10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Monday–Friday, 1–4 p.m. Sunday, Community Building, 115 W. 11th St.
9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday, Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, 100 Rock Chalk Ln.
9 a.m.–noon Tuesday–Friday, 1–5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St.
Noon–7 p.m. Monday–Friday, 1–4 p.m. Sunday, Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St.
9 a.m.–noon/ 5–8 p.m. Monday–Friday, 1–4 p.m. Sunday, East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St.

All other summer programming will be posted to the website at a later date with enrollment beginning in early April.

All program registration is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Certain camps have minimum and maximum enrollment. Registration is required before the camp begins. Waiting lists will be formed when camps reach capacities and every attempt will be made to accommodate people on waiting lists.
