Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is currently taking team registrations for its winter Adult Sports leagues. Those wishing to participate must have their team registered by Friday, Dec. 17.
LPRD offers leagues for a range of skill levels for both the competitive and recreational player. Adult Sports leagues are open to those 16 years-old and older.
Basketball is offered in men’s, women’s and coed leagues ranging in skill levels from highly competitive to recreational. League play consists of seven games followed by a single elimination tournament. Fees are assessed at a per team rate. Cost is $350 per team. Three-on-three leagues will be offered as open leagues where men and women can compete in one league. Cost is $160 per team. Deadline to register is Friday, Dec. 17. Volleyball is offered in women and coed leagues. Leagues range from competitive to recreational and consist of Women’s Power, Women’s Recreation, Coed Power, Coed Recreation, Women’s Power Double Header and Coed Power Double Header. Each league consists of eight matches followed by a single elimination tournament. Double header leagues consist of 12 matches followed by a single elimination tournament. Fees are assessed at a per team rate. Cost is $230 per team for regular (power / recreation) leagues and $340 per team for double header leagues. Deadline to register is Friday, Dec. 17. Indoor Soccer will offer both men’s and coed leagues for all skill levels and experience. Each league consists of seven games followed by a single elimination tournament.
