Make a splash with Aqua Tone aquatic fitness class

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is taking registrations for Aqua Tone, an aquatic fitness program for all levels.

Aqua Tone is a shallow water class that uses the natural resistance of water to increase cardiovascular endurance, increase muscle tone and decrease impact on joints. This class incorporates the use of several pieces of aquatic exercise equipment including hand buoys, gloves, noodles and kickboards.

Aqua Tone will be held 6:30-7:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan 10-March 9, at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive. Cost is $63 per person.

Face coverings are encouraged and appreciated for visitors to City facilities. Masks must be worn at all times while visiting the aquatic center unless in the water, during which time participants may remove their face coverings.
