Crews are set to begin resurfacing the basketball and tennis courts at three Lawrence parks Thursday, Sept. 15.
The resurfacing project will affect the basketball courts at Dad Perry Park, 1200 Monterey Way and Lyons Park, 700 North Lyon Street, and the tennis courts at Dad Perry Park and Veterans Park, 1840 Louisiana St. The resurfacing is expected to be complete by Friday, Sept. 30, weather permitting. The courts will remain closed during the repairs.
During the project, patrons may utilize the following parks or facilities for tennis and basketball:
