The City of Lawrence has created a new annual parking permit for anyone working in Downtown Lawrence. The permit is intended to provide a cost-sensitive parking option for these employees.
The downtown employee annual parking permit will only be valid in public parking lot 16, located at 635 Rhode Island St. It will cost $75 for the year, which is $165 less than the standard annual parking permit.
Permits are available to purchase starting today, Dec. 19. To receive permit approval, you will need to submit a recent pay stub with your name from any Downtown Lawrence business.
