The City of Lawrence is working with neighbors in East Lawrence to develop an East Lawrence Neighborhood plan. In 2021, the Planning Commission authorized the Planning & Development Services Department to create neighborhood plans to incorporate into the City’s existing comprehensive plan, Plan 2040. The East Lawrence Neighborhood Plan is the latest in this endeavor.
Following conversations with East Lawrence neighbors, the City’s Planning & Development Services team drafted initial goals for the neighborhood. Those goals are available to review and provide feedback via an online survey.
This week is your chance to talk to our team! Come to our community open house to talk through draft goals and let us know what you think. Drop in and chat when you’re available; this is an open meeting with no formal presentation!
