Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is opening enrollment for winter programs and activities 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29.
A list of programs being offered will be added as they are finalized online at https://lawrenceks.org/lprd/programs/. Additional programs may be added throughout the winter and will be highlighted on the website and via social media. Most on-going programs begin the week of Jan. 10.
Enrollment will be available online at https://lawks.us/2KAT9v2, as well as in-person at the following Parks and Recreation Department facilities, including: Community Building, 115 West 11th St.; East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St.; Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St.; Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive; Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St.; and Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, 100 Rock Chalk Lane.
LPRD facilities require face coverings to be worn at all times while not actively participating in a program or activity. As per the county health order, anyone two years-old to 11 years-old will be required to wear a face covering at all times regardless of participation in a program.
