The UPWP is a federally required document that describes the annual work activities, schedule and budget planned for the Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) staff, planning partners and consultants in 2023. It is amended as necessary to reflect changes in MPO funding and/or work tasks.
The 15-day public comment period will start on October 11 and October 25. This UPWP will come before the Lawrence-Douglas County MPO Policy Board for approval on November 16. Public Comments received will be reported and considered by the MPO Policy Board where decisions pertaining to revision of this document will be made prior to final approval.
