Hand Park

1040 Home Circle

Hand Park Directions HISTORY
The City established this one-acre park in 1998 as part of a Community Development Block Grant. The Parks and Recreation Department teamed with the Neighborhood Resource Department to create this tot lot when the Neighborhood Resource Department provided the play equipment, and LPRD agreed to maintain the area.

The park’s name, HAND, is an acronym for Housing and Neighborhood Development.

DESCRIPTION OF PARK
Sitting on the curve of Home Circle, HAND Parks serves as a space for the entire neighborhood. The playground equipment and basketball courts provide an area for play, while a winding path and shade trees allow an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the outdoors.
