Due to the ongoing winter storm, City facilities, including City Hall and all Parks, Recreation and Culture facilities, will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 18. This is due to the forecasted winter storm resulting in dangerous travel conditions.

HISTORY
Stonegate Park is a small neighborhood park developed in the Stonegate addition of Lawrence purchased in 2002 and developed in 2004.

DESCRIPTION OF PARK
The park covers four acres and is a natural gathering area for residents of the neighborhood. Surrounded by homes, the park provides ample open space, playground equipment, a strolling path through the area and benches.

The Amenities include:

  • Walking Path

If you are looking to reserve an outdoor shelters and/or indoor facility, reservations are taken at any of the community recreation centers including the Community Building, 115 West 11th St.; East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 East 15th St.; Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St.; Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive; or Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane.
