1958 was an important year in our lives. It was the year we were married and started our family. It was also the year we moved to Lawrence, entered graduate school at KU, and began our teaching careers. All of those events were to have a lasting influence on both of us. We soon will celebrate 50 years of marriage and residence in Lawrence and Douglas County. We can’t imagine a better place to have lived and raised our family.
