CPR Information

Microsoft is currently experiencing a nationwide service disruption which is intermittently affecting Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and other online services used by City staff. They are working to implement a solution but do not currently have an ETA when that will be complete.

Emergency Medical service providers treat nearly 300,000 victims of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest each year in the United States, according to the American Heart Association (AHA). Effective bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR, provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest, can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival.

You can make a difference by learning more about CPR.

Want a no cost cost option?

Hands-Only™ CPR is an easy, two-step process to learn a lifesaving skill from your phone or computer. Hands-Only™ CPR, performed by a bystander has been shown to be as effective as “conventional” CPR in emergencies that occur at home, work or in public. There are only two steps to remember:

  1. Call 911
  2. Push hard and fast in the center of the chest.
