The Chief of the Department is located at the Administration Building next to Station No. 5 at 19th and Iowa (1911 Stewart Ave.) and is directly supported by seven Division Chiefs.
The fire chief performs a variety of technical, administrative and supervisory work in planning, organizing, directing and implementing fire prevention, suppression and emergency medical services to prevent or minimize the lost of life and property by fire and emergency medical conditions. This is accomplished through direct supervision of:
