The Lawrence Parks, Recreation and Culture Department oversees a park system which includes 54 parks. For maintenance purposes the city is broken down into two park districts. The department also has Landscaping/Horticulture and Forestry Divisions to assist with the department and the community.
All Lawrence Parks are Tobacco Free.
